W3FAF (John Thomas) Project

John W3FAF needs help with the dismantling of his antenna farm in preparation for the sale of his home and move to be with his family in Pennsylvania.

N0UC Dick is cordinating the project for John (one of our members in Mahtomedi). Here is the information he has sent people....

I have made arrangements with FAF to begin the project on Friday May 7th and Saturday May 8th with rainout days of Monday May 10th and Tuesday May 11th. The main objective at this time is to dismantle and package the components in a ready to ship condition. At a later time the items that will not be going to Pennsylvania will be made available to interested parties.

Because John and his wife Sally are not in a position to deal with this project they have asked me to manage the project for them. If anyone has questions please do not contact the Thomas’s for answers instead contact me and I will do my best to satisfy you with an answer.

So I can develop a schedule of events I would greatly appreciate if everyone who can participate would send me the times they can be available. I will then schedule tasks according to the manpower we will have available this will make for a safe and easy project. On Wednesday May 5th I would like to be able to send out a packet of information with a list of tasks, scheduled times and number of persons available so I would appreciate receiving your information on availability no later than Tuesday May 4th. If you have a special expertise or any restrictions please let me know I will accommodate where I can. In the notice I will include maps and directions.
