Special Event: “Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald”
November 10, 2008 marks the 33rd anniversary of the sinking of the iron ore carrier and loss of her 29-man crew. The Stillwater Amateur Radio Association (SARA) is planning to operate at Split Rock Lighthouse, Split Rock State Park (Minnesota) to commemorate and honor the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
