SARA Announces the 2011 Fox Hunt Challenge!

Get your gear but no need to pack a snack. SARA will hold the 2011 Fox Hunt Challenge on Saturday August 20th 2011. We will gather at Benson Park in Stillwater about 9:00 AM for coffee, donuts, and maps for registered teams. ( no the location of the fox will NOT be marked on any of the maps!)
We will award prizes ( something we were going to throw away anyway ) to the first three teams to locate the fox.
The fox will be under the direct control of SARA members KØBR Rick & KDØIQV Justin as they were the first to find the fox in our May 14th hunt... remember May 14th - 38 degrees, brisk wind, light rain... they earned it...hi hi
The actual hunt will begin at 09:30 sharp with a CQ from the fox on 47.555 MHz MCW. Yea that's right it's in code... but you'll know it anyway!

Pick a friend or two and form your own team. You can even give it a special name if you like... something to set it apart.. maybe "tally opps" or "The Magnificant 3" well you get the idea..
