Automated email reminders for SARA events

This automated facility removes a burden from the SARA Executive Team who will no longer need to specifically send reminder emails about events.

Email reminders will not be sent for regular and re-occuring daily and weekly events such as the 2m weekly VHF nets or the Thursday evening Eyeball QSOs, unless the event organizer decides that there is a need to send an automated reminder for a specific event occurrence.

Extensive testing by Secretary George and myself indicated that some ISPs may classify the reminder emails as spam. In order to ensure that these reminder emails are placed into your Inbox, please configure your spam parameters to whitelist the following email address - calendar-notification@google.com

The calendar events and the reminders are managed by Secretary George Madline, KC0WOA.

Initially all SARA members and associate members will receive events reminders.

If you wish to opt out of receving these reminders please contact George via email at secretary@radioham.org

You may view the calendar of events online at www.radioham.org under the Calendar of Events link in the left panel and may configure the view to show a month, week or daily agenda.
