Special Event Certificate Signing Party

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on February 12th, starting at 5pm for a Special Event Certificate Signing Party!

There will be a Certificate Signing Party at the Stillwater Library on Feb 12th, to complete the certificates for the Edmund Fitzgerald – Split Rock Lighthouse Special Event. Any member of SARA, who would like to participate in this activity, is encouraged to join us. You do not have to have been amongst the participants, who made the trip to Split Rock. The process is not complicated, but we are going to need assistance to get them completed.

So as to not interfere with the normal Thursday Eyeball session, but still be nearby for those wishing to participate in both activities, the certificate signing will take place in the Conference Room, which is located across the hallway, to the west of the Margaret Rivers Room, that is used for the Eyeball sessions. The normal Eyeball session will meet from 6pm-8pm as usual in the Margaret Rivers Room. As we hope to complete all of the requests for certificates received to date, we will begin signing them in the Conference Room at 5pm.

If you would like to sample the nice plush chairs of the Conference Room, come and join us! If time permits, this would be a great opportunity for anyone to learn, or review, the QSL process. Dave WØOXB, and I have viewed every card received, and there are examples of cards made out perfectly, to some, where we wonder how the person got their amateur license.

I also want to remind all club members who made contact with the special event station, to email me the contact info as soon as possible, if you would like a certificate. No SASE, as we will fill out a certificate, and distribute them to you at club meetings.
